The Chartered Institute of Housing

Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the professional body for people involved in housing and communities. We are a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation. It has a diverse and growing membership of over 22,000 people - both in the public and private sectors - living and working in over 20 countries on five continents across the world. It exists to maximise the contribution that housing professionals make to the wellbeing of communities.

Rural Housing Information Centre is a website designed for practitioners, stakeholders and all those involved in planning for and enabling rural affordable housing. This was launched following the work of the HCA's Rural Housing Project and comprises a range of resources.

The Rural Housing Service (Scotland)

The Rural Housing Service provides a range of services to rural communities and individuals throughout Scotland. We are happy to visit and talk to any rural community in Scotland about local housing problems.
