The Community Led Planning Toolkit includes a number of Resource Sheets. They offer a range of different resources that can be used by communities to undertake specific tasks at each Step of a Community Led Plan. Each Resource Sheet is designed to complement guidance featured in the Advice Sheets.

Lists the different people, groups and organisations that should be involved in the development of any plan

Explains how to organise an event to launch a plan

Resource Sheet 1/3 – Volunteering hints and tips

Suggests ways of recruiting and retaining volunteers that can help to progress a plan

Resource Sheet 1/4 – Feedback and skills form

Offers a template form that can be used at the end of a launch event

Resource Sheet 2/1 – Suggested steering group roles

Recommends roles for volunteers on the steering group of a plan

Resource Sheet 2/2 – Model constitution for steering groups

Provides a template constitution for steering groups

Resource Sheet 2/3 – Example terms of reference for working groups

Offers guidance for working groups that may be set up to pursue particular tasks

Suggests ways of funding a Community Led Plan

Resource Sheet 3/2 – Creating a simple project plan

Offers an example project planning template that can be used to scope out how a plan will progress over the coming months

Resource Sheet 3/3 – Template evaluation form

Provides an opportunity to assess progress towards the development of a plan

Resource Sheet 4/1 – Community wellbeing and sustainability

Proposes a framework for understanding local needs and aspirations by investigating different elements that comprise a sustainable community

Shows how existing facts and information can be considered to inform a better understanding of the local area

Offers best practice guidance for developing suitable consultation methods

Resource Sheet 4/4 – Example consultation methods

Provides a menu of different consultation methods that can be used to engage different people locally

Resource Sheet 5/1 – Analysing qualitative and quantitative data

Looks at how different types of data can be analysed to identify key characteristics, trends and issues for any community

Resource Sheet 5/2 – Prioritisation techniques

Recommends some practical methods for gauging what issues people want to address as a matter of priority with the plan

Resource Sheet 6/1 – Action plan template

Offers a template for recording actions proposed in a Community Led Plan
