The Rural Community Buildings Loan Fund (RCBLF) is managed by Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) and overseen by the Department for Enviroment, Farming and Rural Affairs (Defra). It plays a crucial role in enabling building, renovation and refurbishment work.

ACRE has released a review of the Rural Community Buildings Loan Fund. The review demonstrates the value of the loan fund for volunteers managing projects particularly as it is often the last piece of funding in a package, bridging finance or emergency funding that helps keep the halll open in a crisis.
