ACRE’s rural vision

Our vision is that rural communities will increasingly take a leading role in ensuring the social, environmental and economic well-being of all their residents. They will do this in a way that provides for the present generation and also plans for future needs and future challenges. RCAN members will be there to stimulate their thinking, support their work and help turn their aspirations into reality.
 

 

 
 

Village hall publications

ACRE has produced a wide variety of different publications for village halls. These range from books, reports, information sheets, model documents and checklists. Please follow link below to our publication list to see what is available.

"Maintaining your hall"  This revised publication is now available to order from ACRE or your local Rural Community Action Network member.  It provides practical advice for hall management committees and covers information such as health and safety, technical issues and security, as well as providing a useful guidance into the statutory requirements of maintaining a village hall.
