Yorkshire and the Humber Rural Community Action Network

Yorkshire and Humber Rural Community Action Network brings Rural Action Yorkshire and Humber and Wolds Rural Community Council together to promote their common interests. Our aim is to ensure that the rural voice is heard and responded to in national, regional and local planning and service delivery arrangements.

In particular Yorkshire and Humber Rural Community Action Network aims to:

to respond effectively to opportunities to ensure that national policy development is influenced by the rural perspective from this Region
to ensure rural community needs are addressed through appropriate delivery arrangements and recognised by public sector providers
to promote with Local Strategic Partnerships that their performance management arrangements should identify the impacts of their policies and programmes on rural areas and should include a commitment to remedy any identified shortfall.
