Community Council of Staffordshire
The Community Council of Staffordshire is a charitable, countywide community organisation (and a company limited by guarantee)which works to enable communities to improve the quality of life for all people living and working in the communities of Staffordshire, but particularly those in rural areas. It aims to support voluntary effort and self-help in rural areas and to act as the voice of rural communities.
The Community Council of Staffordshire's aim is to:
- Provide a wide range of advice, information and support for voluntary groups
- Liaise between the sttutory and voluntary sectors at all levels and across a wide range and subjects including environemental issues, affordable rural housing, health and community care, education, training, transport, village halls, shops, post offices and other rural issues
- Assimilate information on such services and needs in order to actively and appropriately to influence any remedial action that may be required.
