ACRE held its annual Fieldworkers’ Conference on 7th and 8th June in Birmingham. As with last year we hosted almost 100 delegates and speakers over two packed days comprising more than 20 workshops and plenary sessions. We are very grateful to all our delegates and speakers who made RuralCAN 2011 such an excellent Conference.
Sessions ranged from the plenary session on Neighbourhood Planning, to sessions on housing, Community Transport, fuel poverty, community services and Big Society. Initial feedback from delegates and speakers has been very positive and we are surveying delegates further to help develop our future plans for events.
